UPDATE: 6.17pm 23/03/20

To our amazing customers and community,

After today’s Government announcement and the need to put all of our efforts into fighting Covid-19, North City will close at 6pm on Tuesday, 24 March.

Kmart’s hours may also differ, so please see their website for the most accurate information.

We will be supporting essential services to ensure they remain open. At this stage this includes Life Pharmacy, which will be accessible through the entrance by New World Supermarket on Lyttelton Ave, Porirua.

To ensure we provide the most up to date and accurate information we will make updates available here on our website, which will include stores that are open.

Please take care of yourselves and your families.

If we all do what’s asked of us, together we will fight and beat Covid-19.

North City ❤

To our North City community,

The health and safety of our customers and staff is a priority. We want to assure customers that robust health and safety procedures have been put in place in response to Covid-19 coronavirus.

Proactive measures in place at our shopping centre include:

An increase in the frequency and intensity of cleaning in public spaces, including bathrooms and high-contact surfaces

Postponement of all public events to minimise close social contact

The introduction of hand sanitiser stations in high use locations such as the foodcourt, most bathrooms, and the Customer Service Desk

The inclusion of public health messaging within the shopping centre regarding virus prevention as recommended by the Ministry of Health

The health and safety of our staff and shoppers is our priority, and we hope that none of these extra measures will cause too much inconvenience.

We will be updating these measures as the public health response to Covid-19 evolves, and we will do all we can to communicate changes to our customers.

We appreciate and thank you for your patience and support during this time and ask if you do feel unwell, then please stay home. The latest Covid-19 advice from the Ministry of Health is available here.
