We’re located just off State Highway 1, and have over 1,000 free carparks available for our customers. You can use this mapping page for directions and to help plan your trip.

Parking

North City has over 1,000 free carparks, 800 of which are undercover.

Undercover parking is available in the two levels adjacent to the Centre and also underneath New World. Uncovered parking is available on the upper level of the shopping centre off Titahi Bay Road.

Our free parking is available for up ton 4 hours daily, however if you are planning an extended stay, no worries simply pop to our Customer Service to let them know.

4 hour parking is available in the main carpark on Titahi Bay Road, and in the basement carpark under New World off Lyttelton Ave or Hartham Place.

Parking Enforcement Services will monitor the carparks and enforce the time limits above.  If you need more time to shop, no worries, just pop to the Customer Service Desk to extend your parking time limit while you shop.

Free Extended Parking

We have free customer carparking for 4 hours at North City, just look out for the signs to make sure you park in the right zone. If you think you will be shopping for more than the time limit you can extend your stay for free by registering your car at our Customer Services Desk on the ground level near Centre Stage.

Our carparks are for the use of North City customers only while at the Centre, so please don’t be offended if you are asked to verify that you have been shopping at the Centre.

Parking Infringement Notice

If the parking time limit in the designated parking zone is exceeded, an infringement notice may be issued by Parking Enforcement Services with a $65 fee. Please see the notice for details. If you would like to appeal, contact Parking Enforcement Services, PO Box 8290 Symonds Street Auckland, and let them know why you are appealing. They can be contacted on 0800 727 536 or by visiting their website. All contact details are listed on the infringement notice.

You’ll find dedicated Parents’ parking located near each entry from the carpark.  These are nice and close so you don’t have to carry your little ones too far on your visit.

Mobility, Parents’ and quick stop parking spaces are available at each entry to the Centre. A lift to access the levels of the centre is accessible from the top level carpark entry behind ASB Bank. A rampway also runs from the entry at the bottom level carpark up to the top level near the Farmers entry. Our Mobility parks are monitored and an infringement fee may be issued if a Mobility parking permit is not displayed while parked in a marked Mobility park.

If you arrive by bike and need somewhere to lock up your wheels, you’ll find bike racks located on the top level carpark near the Foodcourt entry, and also under New World near the entry to the carpark via Hartham Place.

Motorbike parking is available on level 2 of the carpark and is undercover. Motorbikes can park in any carpark space available, but please note they will be subject to carpark time limit and regulations. Please avoid parking in unallocated parking spaces as this may block fire exits or walkways.

Simply catch any train that is destined to or beyond Porirua Station. You will find North City just a short two minute walk across the road from the station.

We monitor our parking to ensure carparks are available for use by genuine shoppers at North City.  If you are wanting to shop for longer, no worries, just visit the Customer Service Desk to register your car to extend your stay for free with us.
