About Lower
Lower started way back in 2001 in the humble town of Mount Maunganui. Founder Jake Pyne wanted to shake up NZ streetwear and wanted to stamp some authority. To this day, Lower is arguably New Zealand’s leader in the Streetwear game.
Our roots are in the Hip Hop culture, using this as a catalyst for our creative work.
Over the years we have collaborated with some heavy hitters within the streetwear industry such as Champion, Jansport & G-Shock to name a few.
